About us
Fochville Animal Hospital treats dogs, cats, birds and small pets, and our second vet does farm calls for cattle, sheep and horses. We have X-ray, in-house blood tests, a surgery and a hospital ward, and a pet shop at the front for food, collars and toys. Grooming on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Our story
Dr Bothma opened as a single vet in 2011. Dr Mahlangu joined in 2017 and brought the farm practice with him.
Why choose us
A vet who will come to the farm at night, and a ward where your dog is checked every hour.
Community and charity
Kokosi Sterilisation Drive
One Saturday a month we sterilise and vaccinate township dogs and cats at cost, with the fees covered by donations.
How to get involved: Donate at the counter or volunteer on the day. We need people to hold leads and fill forms.

Tick season is here
Ticks carry biliary, which kills dogs in days. Check behind the ears and between the toes every evening, use a monthly treatment, and if your dog is off its food and its gums look pale, come in today, not tomorrow.
